Wedge Type Tension Clamp

Wedge type tension clamps is also called a dead end clamp or anchoring clamp. It is a cable clamp that uses a wedge to tension the suspension cable. The installation and use process will not cause any damage to the outer insulation sheath of the cable.

We use UV-resistant plastic or aluminum alloy as the main body, insulating new polymeric materials as wedge sliders, and the pull ring at the fixed end of the clamp is made of hot-dip galvanized steel wire.

Wedge type tension clamps are suitable for self-supporting overhead (ADSS) optical cables, cables and “figure 8” cables with external load-bearing elements. The middle wedge of our tension clamps is adjustable for you to install optical cables with diameters from 0.15 to 0.275 inches (4-7 mm).

Cables are mostly suspended when passing through utility poles, so wedge type tension clamps are generally installed on the pole with pole brackets, hooks or cross arms to fix the suspension cables.
